Chedema: In a bid to reach out to the local population in its area of responsibility, 37 BN BSF Chedema, organized a series of civic action programmes on March 7 at Chedema village, Chedema model village and Keyakie, Kohima village.
Pubali Sonowal, president BWWA of M&C frontier (Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland & Cachar Assam) in the presence of Vinod Kumar, the commandant of 37 BN BSF Chedema, inaugurated the kitchen block at Malo-o Cultural Hall Chedema village and the school building of Civil School at Keyakie Kohima.
Meanwhile, sports items (table tennis boards with accessories and other items) were also distributed to the youths of the locals.
The BN commandant, Vinod Kumar further assured that BSF Chedema will be organizing similar programmes in the days to come and also reach out to assist and help the locals in every way possible.
