4 SOREPA Cadres Arrested from Moreh

Ukhrul, Jan 21: The Security Forces arrested four SOREPA cadres from the Indo-Myanmar Border, Moreh, under Tengnoupal District on 19 January 2025.

According to the Manipur Police report, the SOREPA cadres were arrested from the Indo-Myanmar Border, Border Pillar 79, Pangal Basti under Moreh PS, Tengnoupal District. One mobile phone and three SIM cards were recovered from their possessions.

The arrested cadres are identified as Leishangthem Somorjit Singh alias Lemba (34), Pebam Malemnganba Singh alias Lamnganba (18), Laishram Nelson Singh alias Phirepa, Ningthoujam Milan Meitei alias Khamba (25). A case has been registered in this regard for further investigation.
