Ukhrul: Marking the Children’s Day celebration in a very special and unique way, the Pam’s Kindergarten in collaboration with Nativity Records and Ikon Pictures released their music video “IHAO THOT” at Ukhrul town on Tuesday.

Students of Pam’s Kindergarten could be seen strumming ukuleles and guitars and singing the cover version of “IHAO THOT” in the music video. Originally sung by the famed Tangkhul band Featherheads, the song is a hit among music lovers.

In 2022, the students of Pam’s Kindergarten also performed a cover song “Manganuishon” originally written and performed by Tangkhul artist Thangmeiso Shinglai. Their video was widely shared in the social media and ever since they have been receiving good views.
Out of 110 students, around 30 students of Pam’s Kindergarten are being taught ukulele, guitar, piano and drum. At just six-seven years old or even younger, the children are having the time of their life playing ukuleles, guitars and pianos.

“The equal passion of the teachers and students backed by the supportive proprietor of Pam’s Kindergarten have made these music videos possible” stated Khanthing Shimray, music in-charge of the school. She also expressed gratitude to Augustine L Shimray, frontman of FEATHERHEADS for giving the much needed permission.

The musical angels of Pam’s Kindergarten are all set for their performance at the 2nd edition of Phungcham Haofa Phanit slated on 1 December 2023 at Phungcham village.
The music video released programme was attended by parents of the children and chaplain of Somdal Baptist Fellowship, Ukhrul.
