Adhikarimayum Sharda Devi appointed as state unit BJP President

The BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda had formally appointed Adhikarimayum Sharda Devi as state president of BJP Manipur Pradesh on June 20 with immediate effect.

Chief minister of Manipur, N Biren Singh congratulated A Sharda Devi over her appointment and felicitated the newly appointed Party President at his office on Saturday.

N Biren Singh said, “Under your able leadership, the party will be able to achieve greater heights and fulfil the aspirations of people” and added that “the appointment of Adhikarimayum Sharda Devi as the party President of Manipur has yet again reaffirmed BJP’s commitment not only on empowering women but also respecting talent/hard work of individuals irrespective of their gender or background.”

Adhikarimayum Sarda Devi has asserted that the immediate task before the party is to work towards the magical figure of capturing at least 40 seats in the next Assembly elections, when Manipur goes to polls in early 2022.

Sambit Patra, National Spokesperson BJP took to twitter and congratulated the newly appointed BJP Manipur Pradesh President.
