All Tribal Students’ Union Manipur elects new Executive members

All Tribal Students’ Union Manipur (ATSUM), held its general election on Saturday, consequent to the expiry of 2017-2020 term and unanimously elected their new office bearers of executive members for 2020-2022 term at Amity Hall, Adimjati Complex, Chingmeirong.

ATSUM in its press statement said, 150 leaders representing ATSUM units, ANSAM and KSO GHQ branches and different tribal student bodies from the hill district of Manipur participated in the election presided over by Lunsei Touthang with David Choro Adani as the returning officer.

The handing over of office between the new and old executives will be held on September 20.

The new office bearers of ATSUM are as follows:

  1. President – Seiboi Haokip
  2. Vice President – Vanlallien Khaute
  3. General Secretary – S R Andria
  4. Asst. General Secy – Micah Kamei
  5. Finance Secy – Henkai Singsi

  3. Social & Culture – Karang Paul
