Kangpokpi: Apple Buds Academy Inaugurates Robo-AI Lab

KANGPOKPI: Apple Buds Academy, Kangpokpi, inaugurated its new Robo-AI Lab on Saturday. The lab was dedicated by Rev. Onmang Haokip for the benefit of students from Classes I to VIII, marking the introduction of robotics and AI-based learning activities at the school.

The inaugural programme was graced by distinguished guests, including Pu Jamlim, Retired SBI Bank Manager; Pu Mangkholeth, Lead Bank Manager, SBI Kangpokpi; and Pu Manghekam Kipgen, Education Secretary, KSO General Headquarters, Kangpokpi.

Representing LEAD, the school’s academic partner, Sangeeta Chadha, Academic Adviser, highlighted the positive impact of the LEAD programme in transforming the school and aligning its educational practices with the Government’s vision and policies for quality education.

The newly established Robo-AI Lab is equipped with materials for hands-on learning activities designed to foster critical thinking, creativity, innovation, leadership, and teamwork among students.

The special guests commended the school’s visionary initiative in introducing robotics and artificial intelligence at the foundational level and appreciated its efforts to provide students with modern learning opportunities.

Speaking on the occasion, Headmistress Tracey Kipgen expressed gratitude to God for His blessings and thanked LEAD for its valuable partnership. She also conveyed her heartfelt appreciation to the teachers, parents, and well-wishers for their unwavering support, which has been instrumental in the school’s continuous growth and development.
