Arambai Tenggol Denies Involvement in Unlawful Activities During Lok Sabha Polls

Imphal, April 19: Arambai Tenggol, amidst allegations of its members engaging in unlawful activities at various polling stations during the Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency Lok Sabha elections, has vehemently denied any involvement and clarified that it has not issued any instructions for such actions under its name.

The clarification comes in response to viral videos accusing members of Arambai Tenggol of being involved in gun violence incidents during the first phase April 19 election processes.

As per a report on HyNews, this elderly person said the Arambai Tenggol came fully armed in army uniform in one of the polling stations and overpowered the electoral process.

Arambai Tenggol stated that these activities could be orchestrated by workers of MLAs or candidates contesting in the polls, emphasizing that Arambai Tenggol has no association with these incidents.

The group further urged the police to swiftly arrest those responsible for such activities and take legal actions against them, emphasizing their commitment to cooperating with authorities to identify and penalize those misusing the group’s name.

The Arambai Tenggol has distanced itself from any involvement in the reported unlawful activities during the Lok Sabha elections.
