Tamenglong: Assam Rifles under HQ Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organised ‘Practicing Yoga with Locals’ programme at Kaimai village under Tousem Sub Division, Tamenglong District, Manipur on September 4.
The event was attended by 54 people with full zeal and enthusiasm. The aim of the event was to practice and promote numerous kinds of yoga asanas and implement yoga disciplines into daily life. During the session, participants performed yoga zealously to excel in correct yoga position and asanas.

In addition to the yoga sessions, the event included interaction with civilians and discussion on meditation, relaxation techniques and the importance of healthy lifestyle. During the event the attendees were able to learn the techniques & benefits of different yoga asanas which was highly appreciated by locals and force personnel of the battalion.
