Assam Rifles Organises Patriotic Events Ahead of Republic Day in Senapati

UKHRUL: As part of the celebrations leading up to Republic Day 2026, Assam Rifles organised a series of patriotic activities in Senapati district of Manipur on January 23, aimed at promoting national pride, unity, and community participation.

The programme featured a mass singing of the patriotic song “Vande Mataram” by students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Mao, along with local children and youth from Tungam Khullen villages. The collective rendition created a stirring atmosphere, reflecting a shared sense of patriotism and unity among participants.

In addition, a Run for Unity was organised at Maram Garrison, where Assam Rifles personnel took part with enthusiasm and commitment. The run symbolised the ideals of national unity, integrity, and collective strength.

The events saw active participation from students, local youth, and Assam Rifles personnel, further strengthening the bond between the security forces and the local community.
