Chandel: Angam Memorial School Liwachangning, Chandel on Monday conducted an inaugural function of ‘Atal Tinkering Lab’ and strengthening the school with additional science laboratory equipments under Niti Aayog and powered by EduLife India.
Atal Tinkering is a technology to encourage students to think creatively in a very innovative and practical way. The company is based in Bangalore and other 8 centres in India.
Principal Angam Memorial School (AMS), Jeksha Thumliti expressed her profound gratitude to all the dignitaries, church and village leaders of Liwa-Changning, students of class IX and X, parents who have attended the function. The new science equipments is a blessing from God, and that exposure to this technology will help students to nurture their skills, according to her.
The inaugural function was attended by deputy commissioner Chandel, M. Rajkumar as chief guest. ZEO, Chandel Langhu Mojesh Anal, Founder, EduLife India, Thokchom Mirtamjoy Singh, and President SUR, Ng. Gilbert were the guests of honour. Sh. Manglem Ex-ADC Member, Ts. Morison Pastor LBC, Kh. Kumar, chief of LiwaChangning also attended the function as special invitees.
Mayanglambam Rajkumar in his speech congratulated the school and encouraged the student community to be little more passionate in their quest for knowlege. He shared his school learning days and how he have come this far to inspire and encourage the students present. Learning according to him is interesting and enjoyable if one puts their mind and efforts more seriously. Learn with understanding and be thorough with what you have learnt, he concluded.
Later, pastor Liwachangning baptist church, Ts. Morison led the dedication prayer of the newly installed science equipments. The students of class IX and X were given demonstration classes by visiting teachers from EduLife, India.
It may be mentioned that Angam Memorial School (AMS) was established in 2003 and have produced 10 batches of class X with flying colors and 100% pass percentage record. It is one of the premier schools in Chandel district.
