Chandel: Chief Justice M Sunder Inspects Developmental Works At District Court

CHANDEL: Manipur High Court Chief Justice M Sunder on Saturday inaugurated the newly established Legal Aid Defence Counsel System building at the District Court Complex in Chandel district and inspected ongoing development works.

After inaugurating the facility, the chief justice stated that the Legal Aid Defence Counsel System is a significant step toward ensuring access to justice for all. He expressed hope that the initiative would strengthen legal assistance services and enable the people of Chandel to avail timely and effective legal support.

Inspecting the ongoing construction and infrastructure upgrades in the district court complex, Justice Sunder said the facilities would be handed over to the public once all development works are completed.

The programme was attended by Justice Ahanthem Bimol, Justice Aribam Guneshwor, District & Sessions Judge Binny Ngangom, Chief Judicial Magistrate Phungreishung P.A., Judicial Magistrate Moreh Fakhrul Islam Chowdhhury, Deputy Commissioner Hemant Kumar, members of the Chandel Bar Association, and other officials.
