ATMA donates over 2 lakhs worth medical kits for COVID patients in Ukhrul District Hospital

Word of appreciation to All Tangkhul Medicos Association (ATMA) from Dr Reisangmi Raikhan, Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Ukhrul.

I, on behalf of all the Doctors, Nurses and staff of District Hospital, Ukhrul would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the members of the All Tangkhul Medicos Association for generously donating medicines, injections and other non medicine items like PPE, Pulse Oximeter, Oxygen Flowmeter, and various types of Oxygen mask worth about Rs 2 Lakhs which is meant for use for COVID patients admitted in the COVID Isolation Ward of District Hospital, Ukhrul.

These medicines, injections and other non medicine items donated by ATMA will be given free of cost to any patient admitted in the COVID Isolation Ward of the Hospital.

We are humbled by the ATMA’s good will activities in extending this much needed material support for the COVID patients of our District in this very critical times of COVID pandemic.

We would also like to thank the President ATMA Dr Wormi Sharon and Secretary Dr Kanmi Ningshen for making all the necessary arrangement in procuring and delivering these materials to our Hospital in person and also arranging us a resource person, Dr Jonan (Asst Prof) from JNIMS for sharing with us his expertise on how to use Oxygen rationally and the various techniques of oxygen delivery to a patient with different types of oxygen mask and machines for our Doctors and Staffs working in the COVID Ward.
