BJP Leadership Chairs Meeting Between Meitei and Kuki MLAs

UKHRUL: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders chaired the first-ever joint meeting of Meitei and Kuki BJP Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) from Manipur on Sunday.

The meeting, held at the party’s national headquarters in New Delhi, was presided over by B.L. Santhosh, the BJP’s National General Secretary (Organization), and Sambit Patra, the party’s National Spokesperson and Northeast Coordinator.

While the official agenda and specific outcomes of the closed-door meeting have not been publicly detailed, sources indicate that the discussions focused on fostering political reconciliation, strengthening party unity, and exploring pathways toward lasting peace and cooperation in the state.

In another development, Senior BJP leader and Bihar minister Nitin Nabin has been appointed as the party’s National Working President with immediate effect, following a decision by the BJP Parliamentary Board.
