BJP Nagaland mourns death of national Vice President’s wife

Dimapur: The Bharatiya Janata Party, Nagaland State, mourned the sudden passing of Mrs Yashipokla Longkumer, the beloved wife of National Vice – President Dr Chuba Ao, in the early hours of the morning of July 8. State BJP officials led by President Temjen Imna Along, National Spokesperson Nalin Kohli ji, General Secretary (Org) in charge of Nagaland and Manipur State Shri Abhay Giriji, National Secretary Shri Arvind Menon, who was in the State for his official touring program, and hosts of other party leaders paid their last respect to the departed soul.

In his message, State President Shri Temjen Imna Along condoled the grieving family members and called Mrs Longkumer a God fearing woman, a noble and kind hearted soul, a woman who was always clothed with strength and dignity. He also mentioned that she was not only a good wife; but a great mother who raised up her children to be fine men and women, and that her legacy shall live on and inspire many more lives.

The funeral service took place in their private residence in Chumukedima, Dimapur, with people thronging the vicinity to express their grief over the passing of Mrs Yashipokla Longkumer, whom everybody referred to, as a benevolent woman who is a blessing to many.
