BJP Ukhrul Dist Holds Joint Consultative Meeting

An joint consultative meeting with the Bharatya Janata Party intending candidates of Ukhrul district constituencies and BJP Ukhrul District Executives Committee was held today at BJP’s Ukhrul district headquarters party office, Hamleikhong.

The BJP joint consultative meeting for aspiring candidates on Friday discussed and deliberated the strategies for the upcoming 2022 Manipur assembly polls.

According to sources, various official resolutions and systematic strategies and agendas were formulated for the ruling political party to win and open a second account in the district of Ukhrul after late Danny Shaiza, who was the first BJP minister from the district. The meeting also deliberated on cooperation towards BJP District Executives Committee in ensuring smooth functioning of the party.

All the aspiring candidates took a solemn pledge to work for the welfare and well-being of the people through the largest political party of the world, currently, and the ruling party in the Central and State governments, pledging to work together irrespective of whomsoever receives the coveted BJP ticket in the three constituencies of Ukhrul district and Kamjong district namely 43-Phungyar (ST), 44-Ukhrul (ST) and 45-Chingai (ST) constituencies, said a senior party member.

MK Preshow Shimray and Somatai Shaiza were absent in the joint consultative meeting.
