Ukhrul: A bomb exploded inside the residence of Minister Khashim Vashum in Hamleikhong, Ukhrul, on Saturday. Khashim Vashum is the Minister Veterinary & Animal Husbandry and Transport, a coalition Naga People’s Front (NPF) partner of the ruling BJP party in the state.
According to police, the explosion occurred at approximately 8:40 PM. The minister was not home when the explosion took place.
Ukhrul police rushed to the scene to assess the situation.
No casualties have been reported at the time of filing this news.
