The Border Security Force (BSF) has seized over 392 cattle and other items worth Rs 4.53 crore last month from along the international border with Bangladesh.
The BSF has also apprehended 8 Indians and 10 Bangladeshi nationals on international border.
U K Nayal, DIG PRO BSF Meghalaya said, “It is commendable that BSF troops are performing exceedingly well despite interference while exercising its power to seize contraband items at ground level.” He also added that there should be no compromise when it comes to the security of the nation.
