Imphal, August 6: The Union Ministry of Education has directed the unification of the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) and the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) under a single name.

The announcement was made by COHSEM Secretary Khundrakpam Ashikumar during the Silver Jubilee celebration of Trinity Public School at Mongshangei, Imphal on Wednesday. He stated that separate names for BOSEM and COHSEM may no longer be retained and that both bodies will operate under a unified identity. Preparations for the change are currently underway and will be implemented gradually.
