Imphal, October 31: The Border Security Force (BSF), under the Sector Headquarters BSF Manipur (SHQ BSF MPR) at Koirengei, organized a large-scale Civic Action Program (CAP) across 51 villages in various districts of Manipur to mark Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day).

The initiative, conducted by BSF’s under-command units, aimed to strengthen the bond between security personnel and local communities while promoting the spirit of unity, cooperation, and mutual trust.

As part of the program, essential items were distributed to villagers to support daily needs and improve their quality of life. Local residents, including village chiefs and community leaders, participated enthusiastically and expressed their appreciation for the BSF’s continued outreach and welfare efforts beyond its core security duties.

Officials from BSF emphasized that such initiatives are part of the Force’s ongoing commitment to the holistic development of border areas and to fostering harmony among different communities.

The Civic Action Program, held in the spirit of Ekta (unity), reflects BSF’s enduring dedication to building bridges of trust and goodwill with the people of Manipur.
