Final solution for the long drawn Indo-Naga political issues for lasting, honourable, acceptable and inclusive settlement, ENNWU said is being awaited after the famous August 3, 2015 Framework Agreement witnessed by the world.

Without denying the economic imparities and lack of infrastructural development in the Eastern Nagaland areas, ENNWU said the developmental imbalance cannot be left unattended.

“The hue and cry of the Nagas from Eastern Nagaland areas with regard to the imbalance development activities since the inception of statehood has gained a momentum specially this recent years. It is with the sole motives of the people for developmental purposes and economic upliftment of the areas to live at par with the fellow Nagas in certain aspect,” it added.

ENNWU’s statement comes at a time when the Centre has proposed the formation of Frontier Naga Territory. The new FNT arrangement if implement will have its own legislative, executive, administration, and financial autonomy.
