Ukhrul: With the sole objectives to leverage and streamline acute unemployment issues facing the state through promotion of robust entrepreneurial activities, Career Pathfinder, an Ukhrul headquarters based leading NGO in the realm of education and entrepreneurship, invited application for six months course in Culinary Arts with classes commencing on 2 August.

Informing the Ukhrul Times on Tuesday, Peacemoon Zimik , Managing Director, Career Pathfinder said: “Our main objective behind this initiative is to fight unemployment. The only viable means to overcome unemployment problem in our state is through promotion of entrepreneurial activities.

The MD emphasised while commenting specifically on the need for promoting more entrepreneurial activities in the district and State to salvage unemployment issues facing the state particularly the youths.

The course is for aspiring chef and restaurateur to unleash the master chef in them and to give wings to their dreams. It also aims to impart and equipped relevant skills in contemporary culinary techniques, developing menus, cuisines and kitchen department – which are a must know skills apart from offering practical hands on experience on restaurants management, among others.

With intake limit set at 20 seats, it also offers placement opportunity for successful candidates.

Career Pathfinder is located at Hamleikhong, Hungpung in Manipur’s Ukhrul district.
