Chandel: Maring body Adopts Resolution to Oppose FMR and Border Fencing

Ukhrul, June 27: The Rilram Area Maring Organisation (RAMO) said it held an emergency assembly at Kambang Khunou Village on Friday.

In the emergency assembly held, RAMO said it adopted a resolution to continue the people’s movement against the imposed border fencing by the Government of India and the scrapping of the Free Movement Regime (FMR) along the Indo-Myanmar border.

The Rilram Area Maring Organisation, in the emergency assembly, also adopted a resolution to support and stand with ANSAM’s call for office picketing and will always support any movement or agitation by ANSAM in regard to the imposed border fencing and scrapping of FMR.
