Chandel: Seminar on Anāl Hangzọọmṵ held

Imphal, Apr 23: With an aim to impart knowledge on graphology of the Anāl Naga dialect among the students of the community, the Anal Lenruwl Tangpi, Imphal Branch (ALT-IB) on Wednesday organised a one day seminar on Anāl Hangzọọmṵ (Graphology) at the Anal Baptist Church, Imphal.

As a resource person, Dr. Bs. Khelhring, author of Anal grammar, spoke on the use of vowel and consonant graphemes, morphology and punctuation during the first session.

During the second session, Kl. Kinghman, teacher of Anal language spoke on the importance of Anal Hangzoomu as a mode of fluency to better understand Anāl cultural heritage as in relation to cultural heritage history.

In the final session, Dr. Bd. Onahring, Joint Secretary of the Anāl Literature Society encouraged the students present to pursue their studies in perfection, irrespective of their major subjects offered.

Earlier during the programme, Js. Lorngam, vice president of ALT-IB welcomed everyone and called on them, especially the students to take advantage of the seminar and learn more about the Anāl dialect and Anāl Hangzọọmṵ (Graphology).

Rd. Monalisa, Education Secretary, ALT-IB expressed gratitude to everyone present especially the resource persons for their valuable time in imparting knowledge on Anāl Hangzọọmṵ (Graphology).
