Chandel to Host ‘The Naga Morung’ on March 28

Senapati 26:  A program christened The Naga Morung under the theme Kuknalim will be held in Chandel district, Manipur, on March 28, 2025. The program is being organised by the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF), the apex body of Naga students.

In this regard, the All Naga Students’ Association, Manipur (ANSAM) has expressed its sincere appreciation for the efforts of the Naga Students Federation (NSF) in organising the event. This program will be hosted by the Naga Students’ Union, Chandel (NSUC), at Liwa Sarei Village Ground, Chandel.

The ANSAM said today that the dedication of the NSF to facilitate an open and constructive discussion on the theme will greatly contribute to fostering understanding for a just society. “Such dialogues are essential for democratic progress, and the federation’s commitment to creating a platform for diverse perspective for a productive exchange of ideas is truly commendable,” the ANSAM also said.

The ANSAM, in the interest of strengthening the NSF and in the larger interest of the Nagas, has assured its full support and cooperation to ensure the programs’ successstanding committed and contributing constructively to work together to achieve positive outcomes.

The ANSAM said it “views such dialogues as crucial for progress and implores all the constituent units, subordinate bodies and the Naga populace to extend full support and cooperation by active participation”. 

The ANSAM then appealed to the law-enforcing agencies, civil society organizations, and all concerned people in the state to extend their cooperation and refrain from calling strikes/bandhs to avoid obstructions to ensure the program’s success.
