Chris Norman (Smokie) show postponed indefinitely; MLTR band arrives in Imphal

Imphal: The much anticipated Chris Norman and Band (Smokie) show slated for December 1, Thursday has been postponed indefinitely.

Director of 7 Sisters Foundation, Sunny Shimrah informed this correspondent that two band members of the band could not obtain Indian visa on time, despite waiting till the last minute.

When asked about next date of Chris Norman’s show, Sunny informed that a new date will be fixed as soon as possible.

Sunny also informed to those who have purchased Chris Norman’s tickets that if they so wish to swap, will be given access to Michael Learns to Rock show on November 29, Tuesday at HVS Patsoi Ground, or have the ticket money refunded, or keep the ticket until a new date is announced.

The prolific Chirs Norman and Band, the original voice of Smokie band will now touch down in Imphal on a later date which the organizer said will be announced soon.

Michael Learns to Rock band has already arrived in Imphal informed Sunny.

Wristband tickets for Michael Learns to Rock (MLTR) concert for November 29, Tuesday will be sold for three categories at the venue.
