CHURACHANDPUR: The Deputy Commissioner of Churachandpur, Dharun Kumar S, on Wednesday inaugurated the Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Henglep in the presence of Letzamang Haokip, Henglep AC MLA, and district-level officers.

The PHC, which has been providing health services to the subdivision for years without adequate infrastructure, now stands equipped with improved facilities. Following the inauguration, the Deputy Commissioner inspected the centre’s rooms, equipment, and other health-related arrangements, an official statement read.

Later in the day, a District Level Officers (DLO) meeting was held at the SDO Office complex in Henglep sub-divisional headquarters, to strengthen administrative outreach in rural areas of the district.

A comprehensive review of ongoing schemes was undertaken, focusing on progress achieved, challenges faced, and actionable measures to enhance public service delivery. MLA Letzamang Haokip, district-level officers, and line departments participated in the deliberations, the statement added.
