COCA COLA being Charged 25% more in Ukhrul

Published on

In these few months of pandemic the price of coca-cola has skyrocketed. The 2.5 litre coke which has an MRP of rupees 95 (inclusive of all taxes) is being sold for rupees 120 and the 750 ml coke which has an MRP of rupees 40 (inclusive of all taxes) is sold for rupees 50.

While complaining, the retail shops tend to point their fingers at the supply wholesaler who sells them at a higher price. Commodity like this should not be overcharged as it has its print price. The organisations like the Tangkhul leisak long (Commerce Union) and other concerned government authorities may kindly look into this matter at the earliest.
