The protest saw participation from various groups, including Meira Paibis, civil society organizations, local clubs, legal practitioners and students in districts like Imphal, Bishnupur, and Jiribam. In Imphal City, human chains were formed at several places including Sagolband, Uripok, Khurai, Tiddim Road, Keishampat, and Thangmeiband.

Protesters demanded urgent and decisive measures to end the escalating violence, calling for Kuki armed groups to be officially declared as terrorists. Students, particularly from vulnerable regions, expressed frustration over the disruption to their education due to the unrest and urged the government to restore peace and hold the perpetrators accountable.
