Committee on Tribal Unity condemns ‘attack at Phaijang-Luwangsangol’

Ukhrul: The Committee on Tribal Unity said it vehemently condemns the attack at Phaijang-Luwangsangol by the secessionist armed Militias and Arambai Tenggol at around 12 pm on Tuesday afternoon. “Mention may be made that these outfits needs to redeem themselves from the misdeeds of sabotaging the recently concluded parliamentary election in the valley,” stated CoTU.

CoTU also stated it is “pertinent to point out that the case of two Kuki-Zo volunteers who were butchered in the most inhuman manner at Phailengmol is still unresolved” in its lates press release issued Tuesday evening.

The Kangpokpi Kuki-Zo civil body saying “enough is enough Mr. Biren” further maintained that the “exasperated Chief Minister of Manipur is advice to control his armed militias from trespassing and aggression into Kuki-Zo areas in order to redeem himself and his Arambai Tenggol from the recently concluded election fiasco in the valley.”
