Wisecrabs congratulates Mrs. Christina Sialloa (Aimol) from Sattu, Pallel, for successfully defending her thesis and being officially awarded a Doctorate (PhD) in Mathematics from Manipur University.
Dr. Christina Sialloa is the better half of Mr. Michael Mate (District Youth Officer, NYKS Thoubal, and Wisecrabs member) and is currently teaching at Presidency College as an Assistant Professor (Contract).
Interesting trivia – Dr. Christina is the first Naga/Khurmi lady to complete a PhD in Mathematics (the honour of being the first tribal goes to a Kipgen lady).

– Schooled at Little Flower, Imphal
– Graduated in Electronics & Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Engineering, Mysore
– Master’s in Mathematics from Manipur University
– Doctorate from the Department of Mathematics, MU
– Cleared IBPS PO 2014 and worked for a few months at PNB
– Cleared SSC CGL 2014 and joined CSS as Assistant Section Officer (ASO)
– Currently teaching at Presidency College as an Assistant Professor (Contract)
