Covid-19 cases in Manipur saw 687 new cases taking the total tally to 58,768, while the death toll has touch 944 with 19 more fatality on Friday, the state health department informed.
As many as 7,820 COVID-19 test results were received out of which 231 positive cases were from Imphal West, 156 from Imphal Eest, 64 from Churachandpur as the top three highest daily new positive cases among the districts in Manipur.
The Health department reported 58 in Bishnupur district, 59 in Thoubal, 63 from Kakching, 9 in Jiribam, 6 in Senapati, 4 in Chandel, 2 in Tamenglong, 1 each in Ukhrul and Kamjong districts.
