CRPF provides passenger waiting shed, water storage tanks in Noney and Kangpokpi districts

Noney/Kangpokpi: The 86 Bn CRPF under the aegis of M S Shekhawat, IGP Manipur and Nagaland Sector CRPF, and under the supervision/initiation of Sh Mohd Yusuf, Comdt-86 handed a waiting shed and water storage tanks to the villagers of Marangjing Part-IV under Noney district and K Senam village under Kangpokpi district respectively.

The waiting shed and distribution of storage tanks was made under the Civic Action Programme which was conducted by the CRPF for a good relationship between villagers and security forces.

Sh Mohd Yusuf, Comdt-86 Bn CRPF, inaugurated the functions as chief guest in the presence of village Chairman in both Kangpokpi and Noney districts.

The passenger’s waiting shed is being handed over to the villagers keeping in view the dire need of the surrounding villages boarding transportation ahead to Imphal or towards Jiribam.

The chief guest Sh. Mohd Yusuf while addressing the gathering in Noney extended immense gratitude to the villagers for their active participation in Civic Action programme and urged local villagers to avail the facilities of waiting shed during moonsoon hoping that people from local villagers will definitely be benefited by this waiting shed.

Meanwhile, in K Senam village, the villagers requested to provide a water storage tank as there is acute shortage of water during winter season especially when spring water from the mountain gets dried.
Accordingly, based on the request of villagers, Sh Mohd Yusufm considered it prudent to provide water storage tanks for the benefit of the local villagers.

The chief guest also mentioned in both the villages that the CRPF is going to conduct more such programmes in the interest of local villagers in the near future so that the needy villagers could be benefited and to bridge the CRPF and public relation for the benefit of the society.

Both the programmes were also attended by Sh Deepak Kumar, second-in-command 86 Bn CRPF, Sh Danial L Hmar Asst Comdt and other officers of 86 Bn. CRPF.

Village Chairman’s of the two villages and the public of the surrounding areas applauded such beneficial initiatives of 86 Bn CRPF and extended their immense gratitude with the hope of many more similar beneficial events in the coming future. The programme was concluded with the vote of thanks by the village Chairman of the Marangjing Part-IV in Noney district and Village Chief of K Senam village in Kangpokpi district.
