Pherzawl, September 24: The Deputy Commissioner of Pherzawl, Mannuamching, today inaugurated a three-day District Process Lab training under the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan at the DC Office Conference Hall. The initiative focuses on strengthening grassroots planning and development in tribal villages.
Addressing the gathering, DC Mannuamching underlined the importance of village-level planning, pointing out that top-down approaches often overlook vital local needs. She reminded participants of their responsibility to guide and educate villagers about government programmes. “You cannot teach what you don’t know. Let us treat our assigned tasks as giving back to society and be ready to go the extra mile whenever needed,” she said, encouraging trainees to become agents of change in their communities.

District Prabhari Officer, Bhagiya Raj, also motivated the participants to look at village plans from the beneficiaries’ perspective. He urged them to believe in their work despite challenges. “Once you believe it is possible, the job is already half done,” he remarked, assuring the trainees of his full support.
The District Process Lab has brought together Block Master Trainers from Rural Development, Health, Education, Social Welfare, Forest, and Public Health Engineering departments. It is designed to build field-level capacity for last-mile service delivery and inclusive growth in tribal villages. The Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan will cover 22 villages across Pherzawl district.
