Dimapur, August 13: The NSCN-IM, in its latest edition of its mouthpiece Nagalim Voice, said it (NSCN-IM) is “determined to hold the nerves to defend the Framework Agreement”. The NSCN-IM bulletin asserted, “Let the whole world know that the Framework Agreement of August 3, 2015, is the irreversible stand of the Nagas. No surrender, no retreat”.

The bulletin then said August 3 is a “historic day that the Lord has made for the Nagas as He never failed to lead us in guiding towards achieving the highest level of political agreement though Framework Agreement”. The NSCN-IM buletin also said the Framework agreement is a valid political document which was signed at the highest level with Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.

“We understand that the Government India is having its own problem to implement, and thus, desperate to disown it. On the other hand, some Naga people started to talk about Naga political solution in different voices deviating from the path that will protect Naga political identity. This was taken advantage of by the Government of India and thus, indulged in delaying tactics to play spoilsport to Naga history”, the bulletin further said, adding, “Let the whole world know that the Framework Agreement of August 3, 2015, is the irreversible stand of the Nagas. No surrender, no retreat”.

The NSCN-IM bulletin then urged the Nagas to stand strong to see the light of the day as “we strengthen our hope with prayer that the good lord will deliver the Nagas from the bondage of the oppressor”. The bulletin then concluded by saying, “Let us give space to God to deliver justice for the Nagas. Putting our faith in God, let us maintain the spirit of Framework Agreement at all times until the end”.
