District election officer, DC Ukhrul calls press meet on Nov 9

Ukhrul: The district election officer Krishna Kumar, IAS who is also the deputy commissioner of Ukhrul has called for press conference on November 9, 2022 to all electoral registration officers and assistant electoral registration officers of 43-Phungyar (ST), 44-Ukhrul (ST) AC and 45-Chingai (ST) assembly constituencies and political parties functioning in Ukhrul and Kamjong districts in connection with “special summary revision of photo electoral roll.

The notification issued by deputy commissioner, Ukhrul, informed that a press conference will be held at the conference hall of deputy commissioner Ukhrul on November 9.

The conference will be held at 12:30 pm.

The conference will be held in connection with “special summary revision of photo electoral roll with effect from 1 January, 2023.

The press meet will be followed by meeting to discuss the following agenda namely, Aadhaar seeding of electors ( form B); special summary revision of photo electoral roll with effect from January 1, 2023 (SSR – 2023), and systematic voters education and electoral participation (SVEEP).

The notification issued by Krishna Kumar, deputy commissioner Ukhrul further requested all concerned to make it convenient to attend the said meeting.
