The Congress party on Wednesday appointed former Member of Parliament, Dr Ajoy Kumar as AICC in-charge of Sikkim, Nagaland and Tripura.
The press release issued by All India Congress Committee general secretary K.C. Venugopal stated the appointment was with immediate effect.
“Hon’ble Congress President has approved the proposal for the re-joining of Dr Ajoy Kumar, Ex-MP and former President, Jharkhand PCC, to the Congress party.” Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal had said in a statement.
The former Lok Sabha member had joined Aam Aadmi Party for a short stint in 2019.
