The Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), today officially confirmed East Bengal FC as ISL’s Eleventh team with the Red and Gold Brigade joining the Indian top flight following a successful bid.

East Bengal’s successful entry to the ISL completes the double entry of both West Bengal giants into the ISL following Mohun Bagan’s entry after their tie up with ATK.

Mrs. Nita Ambani, Founder & Chairperson, FSDL addressing the media in the aftermath of East Bengal’s successful entry expressed her delight in seeing both the two historic West Bengal teams join the ISL fray.
