Stage Set for Finale of 3rd Phantu Volleyball Tournament

CHANDEL: After an eventful week-long tournament, the stage is set for the finale of the 3rd Phantu Volleyball Tournament at the Lambung Primary School Ground, Lambung village in Chandel district. The finale of the Anal inter village level tournament will be held on Saturday.

In the first semi-final of the day in the Men’s category, Phunchung A defeated Leho to enter the finale. They will clash with Chakpikarong Youth Club who defeated Dangkhu Youth Club in the second semi final of the day.

In the veteran category, Tampi will clash with Cheengkhu in the finale after defeating Oklu in the semi final. Earlier, Cheengkhu defeated Linung.

In the women’s category, Cheengkhu will take on Thungcheng after defeating their respective opponents in the semi final.

The tournament, which began on February 23 is being held in a day-night format with most matches played from 4 PM onwards.
