First Consultative Meeting Addresses Dr. Alyson Abonmai’s Candidature for 18th Lok Sabha Election

Lower Makhan, January 31 – The inaugural consultative meeting of the CSOs, leaders, village chiefs, and Chairman of the Liangmai community convened on January 31, 2024, at Green Tree Academy, Lower Makhan. The primary agenda was to deliberate on the candidature of Dr. Alyson Abonmai, the aspiring candidate for the 18th Lok Sabha election, Outer Manipur.

Dr. Alyson Abonmai, a distinguished philanthropist, social entrepreneur, and the esteemed recipient of the National Award for Best Social Reformer of the Year 2024 by the Newspaper Association of India, addressed the gathering. He drew attention to the need for change and reformation, as outlined in his manifestos. Dr. Abonmai passionately advocated for the development of infrastructure in both outer and inner Manipur.

During his speech, he underscored the importance of empowering youth, women, and farmers, as well as promoting cultural heritage and tourism in the region.

The meeting witnessed a substantial turnout, with attendees applauding the candidate’s inspiring vision and pledging their support.
