Freshwater Snail🐌 Recipe

Ingredients:
Snail, galangal ( loklei in Manipur ), ginger, hooker chives, garlic chives, potato, Sichuan pepper leaves, culantro, fermented fish, pork fats and dry king chilli.

Steps:
1) cut the bottom part of the snail, add salt and water, soak for overnight.

2) Wash properly, add salt and water again, cook for 1 hr in medium heat.

3) Add peeled potatoes and galangal cook for 30 mins.

4) Make a paste of potato and galangal.

5) Heat pork fats, add garlic chives, hooker chives, ginger paste and fermented fish, fry for a min.

6) Add mashed potatoes, galangal, snail, Sichuan pepper leaves, culantro, king chilli paste. Cook for 5 mins in high heat
