Gift Raikhan was today appointed the Head coach of Manipur State’s Santosh Trophy team that will play in the North Eastern Qualifying rounds in the last week of September.
The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) A licence holder will hope to help Manipur State team qualify for the final rounds of the Santosh Trophy which will be held in late November.
Gift Raikhan was awarded the I League coach of the season award in 2017-18 for leading NEROCA to a second place finish in their first ever season in the I League.
He has since gone on to coach Aizawl FC and Gokulam Kerala before coming back home and spending the last two seasons at NEROCA.
Gift Raikhan left NEROCA at the end of last season and will hope to find his winning formula once again with the Manipur State Team.
