A lifeless body of a Manipuri pony was found in the river of the area. The discovery of the dead pony has raised concerns and questions among the local people, given the ongoing efforts to protect and preserve the Manipuri Pony, a rare and valuable breed of horse which holds significant cultural and ecological importance in the region.
