ADC Tamenglong has announced June 30 as the deadline for shopkeepers, vegetable vendors and fresh meat sellers to come forward for COVID-19 Vaccination.
Chief Executive Officer of Autonomous District Council, Tamenglong, D. Meidinbui, issued an order on June 28 that all shop keepers, vegetable vendors and fresh meat seller within Tamenglong town to mandatorily take COVID-19 Vaccination in order to reduce, control and contain further spread of virus.
While mentioning that the notice was made in pursuance of the order issued on June 26 vide DC(TML)/11/COVID-19/2020(PT-II), all the shop keepers, vegetable vendors and fresh meat sellers working within Tamenglong town area were informed to report at Rani Gaidinliu Women Market, Tamenglong HQ on or before June, 30 2021.
If anyone is found not complying, stringent action will be taken upon the defaulter by suspending their licenses/permit, the notice said.
