Hill State People’s Democratic Party announces first list for 2023 polls

Shillong, Jan 11: The Hill State People’s Democratic Party (HSPDP) today announced the first list of seven candidates for the upcoming Meghalaya Assembly elections.

The party supremo and former legislator, KP Pangniang is one among the candidates declared by the party. He will be contesting against the NPP candidate Kimfa S Marbaniang, who recently resigned as MLA, from the Rambrai-Jyrngam constituency.

The other candidates include Evalyne Kharbani (Mawhati), Primson Makdoh (Umsning), Shakliar Warjri (Mawthadraishan), Sanjied Kynsai Shangrit  (Nongstoin), Methodeius Dkhar (Mawshynrut) and Milansing Lyngdoh (Mawkyrwat).
