SENAPATI: High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination, 2026 commenced in Senapati district under strict discipline. The said exam is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM). 5 teams of Flying squad under district administration, Senapati and officials from Senapati District Students Association (SDSA) has been inspecting the 8 exam centres in the district to ensure free and fair examinations.
All candidates were frisked before entrance to the examination halls and proper instructions were given how to fill in the answer papers by the OCs of different examination centres.
In an interview with the Zonal Education Officer, Senapati at an examination centre, L. Solomon,. ZEO, Senapati stated that the examination is conducted in a free and fair manner with proper instructions given to the candidates. The ZEO mentioned that 5 teams of Flying Squad instituted under district administration, Senapati have been deployed to see the free and fair conduct of the examination. The ZEO affirmed that the said examination will be conducted under very strict discipline.
Washington Kho, General Secretary of Senapati District Students Association (SDSA) stated that the district student body has been inspecting different examination centres to ensure free and fair examinations. The student body appeals to all candidates to appear in the examination with utmost sincerity. The SDSA General Secretary was delighted to witness the district administration, Senapati for their efforts to conduct the examination in a free and fair manner who also hopes to see even in the coming years.
Around 1,600 candidates are currently appearing in the HSLC examination, 2026 in 8 different examination centres. 166 candidates at Lao Radiant School, Karong, 231 candidates at Daikho Va School, Senapati, 220 at Bethany Hr. Sec., 191 at Don Bosco Hr. Sec. School, Maram, 154 at Sardar Patel High School, Mao, 154 at Mao Maram Hr. Sec. School, Tadubi, 258 at Purul Hr. Sec. and 222 at Paomata High School.

Two candidates under Child With Special Needs (CWSN) are also appearing in the examination at Bethany Hr. Sec. School, Senapati.
