I Told the Stars about You

Published on

I told the stars:
When I look into her eyes
They twinkle and glow
Brighter than any of you.

I told the fresh spring flowers:
You may be colourful and aromatic,
But her fragrance is sweeter than any of yours.

I told the young beautiful ladies:
Your hair is silky, soft, and lusciously thick,
Yet her long and flowing hair is more charming.

This I want to tell you:
They are all jealous of you,
Because I love you more than any of them.
