Indian Army Celebrates Holi with Relief Camp Residents and Villagers

Ukhrul, Mar 14: As part of its ongoing efforts to support and uplift displaced communities, the Indian Army organized a special Holi celebration on 13 March 2025, distributing sweets and colors to families at Mandop Yumpham Relief Camp, Sardar Patel Relief Camp and nearby villages. This initiative, conducted under Op Sadbhavana, aimed to bring festive cheer and reinforce the spirit of unity and harmony during the festival of colours.

Understanding the challenges faced by displaced families, the Army ensured that the essence of Holi was not lost amidst hardships. Traditional sweets were distributed, while vibrant colours added to the joyful atmosphere. The initiative provided much-needed relief and fostered a sense of normalcy and celebration to those affected by displacement.
