Poumai Naga Tsiidoumai Me Annual Sports Meet Kicks Off

Ukhrul, Mar 14: The annual sports meet of Poumai Naga Tsiidoumai Me, Imphal (PNTMI) commenced today at DM College of Science, Imphal, under the theme “Play with Passion, Win with Pride.” The three-day event culminating on March 16, 2025, promises to be an exciting display of sportsmanship and talent.

The inaugural function was graced by esteemed guests, including Saveio Khole, Vice President of BJYM Manipur State and Member of the Airport Advisory Committee (AAC); Mohmai Pozii Philemon, Managing Director of Biosys Lifesciences Pvt. Ltd; J Dalounii  Angam, President of Poumai Tsiidoumai Me; and contractor LA Mooteakha.

The event saw the presence of PNUI, PNNMI, and NSUI presidents along with their colleagues. A total of 11 teams are participating in the sports meet, which will feature competitions in football, volleyball, basketball, race, tug of war, and other entertainment events categorized under senior, junior, and sub-junior levels.

The annual sports meet aims to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy competition among the participants. With its exciting lineup of events and enthusiastic participation, the meet is expected to be a resounding success.
