The President, Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS) Society on Thursday suspended a medical officer who was appointed on daily honorarium basis, in Porompat Imphal.
The suspension order issued by JNIMS director Th Bhimo, identified the doctor as Pangambam Bohson who is accused of allegedly assaulting a staff nurse posted in the Covid Ward JNIMS.
Dr Pangambam Bohson has been restricted movement within the headquarters in Imphal and cannot leave without obtaining previous permission of JNIMS Authority, the order said. Dr Pangambam “shall also continue to be under ​the ​administrative control of JNIMS and should abide by conduct r​​ules and he shall not be entitled to any emoluments during the duration of suspension,” it added.
