Shansophy Jajo’s Khamatha cover, written and composed by Sothingam Shaiza is getting premiered on UTflix.com on 4th December 2020 at 6:00pm (IST).
Shansophy a.k.a Aphy Jajo is known for her covers and few originals on different genres in collaboration with popular artists, producers and creators from Manipur. Her cover of Bad Guy – Billie Eilish was well received, and surprisingly she says, the music video was made within just an hour and half, setting some sort of world record, judging by the quality of the visuals and audio of Billie Eilish cover.
Aphy is also popular for karaoke tracks all available on her YouTube channel. She says that her dream of having a YouTube Channel is to collab with many people in the hope to fulfil her dream.
Khamatha does not follow a plot in the visuals. If you are looking for a well tailored conceptualisation, its plainly not there. But Khamatha has much more than graphics and video editing, its strength is in the pure simplicity of the song and melody, with a dash of candid shots.
And that’s not all it, the music video will see starring Timmi Lunghar and Solom Khamrang. – Just about her beauty according to the lyrics.
